Here’s an old shot of my hometown: Lawrenceville, GA.
I mean, sure, I’m like 10 times closer to the Suwanee city limits than Lawrenceville’s, but that’s what’s on my mailing address so yeah.

My uncle was Police Chief of Lilburn for a few years - the good ol’ boy network down there didn’t like a highly-educated liberal white guy from Pennsylvania via Tennessee as a law officer - especially after he married a black woman with a Masters in Biochemistry.
She works for the CDC and he stays up in Asheville as a patient advocate for the VA.

Haha, dang! Luckily, the area is much better now! Still definitely a red county, but super diverse race-wise. In fact, it feels weird when I’m traveling and half of the signs aren’t in Korean.

I’ve driven through there before. It looks like all GA small towns back in the 50s. Some still look like that, but without the cool cars.

Yeah, it’s almost exactly the same today. Pretty much all of them are, as far as I’ve seen.

Very! It is a sandwich shop located off the interstate not far from the interstate. Very tasty.

Until they get big and developers come in like in Pooler.
